Mobilizing Men Task Force

TAASA’s Mobilizing Men Task Force (MMTF) exists to mobilize men and boys to address the root causes of sexual violence in Texas. MMTF accomplishes this goal by providing training, resources and networking opportunities to men and women who are working to meet this same goal from across the state.

This webinar will focus on engaging men in the United States Military who are returning from active combat deployment in violence intervention and prevention programming. A panel of experts will discuss successful partnerships between US Military branches and rape crisis centers, current efforts within the armed forces to address the root causes of violence, and the realities of violence in the lives of soldiers returning home from combat zones. Participants and panelists will contribute to a conversation about how to support these soldiers and engage them in our intervention and prevention programs at rape crisis centers.
