Mobilizing Men Task Force
Please join us for our July TAASA Mobilizing Men Task Force (MMTF) meeting. TAASA’s Mobilizing Men Task Force (MMTF) exists to mobilize men and boys to address the root causes of sexual violence in Texas. MMTF accomplishes this goal primarily by providing training, resources and networking opportunities to men and women who are working to meet this same goal from across the state. Space at our July meeting is limited, so please register today. Registration will close on Thursday, July 26, 2012, or when all spaces are filled.
July's meeting will be an activity pot luck. Attendees will share their favorite anti-injustice/pro-justice activities and get valuable feedback from other individuals who work to engage men and boys in anti-violence efforts. Activities should address sexism, homophobia, adultism, racism and/or equity.
Once you have registered, please e-mail Tim Love with the name of your activity and an electronic copy of your activity if possible. We will share electronic and/or hard copies of your activities with other participants.
We encourage attendees to bring their own lunch, and to bring materials about their effort/organization to share.
