Comprehensive Immigrant Services Training

Sponsored By  TAASA, Lone Star Victim’s Advocacy Project, & the Immigrant Services Network of Austin

This training is in response to recent state and national legislation that further marginalizes vulnerable communities, and increases barriers to support and services for victims in immigrant communities.

There are 3 specific tracks for law enforcement, legal services,  & community advocates.

The one day training will rely on professionals and survivor leaders in the community to teach advocates, legal services, and law enforcement how to increase outreach and efforts to build trust, provide unique approaches to meeting survivor’s needs, and adapting efforts for survivor-centered and culturally-responsive services.
